Fabulous find!! Very well equipped. A perfect place for those who like the great outdoors and taking their four legged friends away with them.
Couldn't fault it. Hopefully will be booking again next year.

A quaint little cottage that is thoughtfully equipped, there's even a tea strainer! The bedrooms are lovely and beds very comfortable. The gardens front and back were lovely and very secure so Milo could be let out without worry. The location was just right for getting around the island, though I hadn't realised the Isle of Wight was going to be so hilly! Major towns were easy to find and Osborne House is a treasure. All in all a good week,

We greatly enjoyed a return to West Wight after an absence of twenty-seven years. Coastguard Cottage was very well presented and fitted out and it suited all our needs. Well provided with maps and local information as well as the history of the coastguard service.

A lovely cottage in a great location that is so convenient for the beach. Freshwater Bay is excellent for swimming and kayaking with good walking close by. The owner's representative is very helpful and even phoned to say the cottage was ready for us ahead of the published time. We had an excellent stay and will certainly consider staying again and will recommend to friends and family.

Ideally located for walking, both coastal and countryside. Lovely pub within reasonable walking distance. Quiet and peaceful location. Few amenities within walking distance, but everything you need within a five minute drive.
Very dog friendly - our dog is sulking because he didn't want to come home.
The size of the island means that all attractions are within striking distance, and Freshwater Bay is at the quiet end - which is precisely why we returned for a second visit.

Love Coastguards cottage been last year and again this year. Highly recommend particularly if you love the Downs and have a dog! 2 lovely secure gardens too no worries about the dog outside.
